    Haha this is funny …
Haha this is funny thread, I just wanted to add that all theory that is falable is valid without testability has no real asset.

    well, according to …
well, according to you annahidd, it would appear as though all the world’s problems are solved, right?

that guy would last about 20 minutes in somalia before he was put in an orange jumpsuit and decapitated on an internet video. that’s why you don’t see guys like this in the real hot spots of the world where resolution is desperately needed.

oh, and when dealing with muslims, the qur’an is the only emotion you will be dealing with, and is non-negotiable to them.

    Finally, what …
Finally, what cutting edge neuroscience and other scientific disciplines are saying: we are emotional beings more than rational ones. Particularly in conflict, we act from our guts rather than our heads!

Finally, we can start dealing with conflict at the place it’s caused.. getting people to recognize their emotional responses and choose how they respond to them.

    An important step forward.

  4. TOILETLOG says:

    hey mr. problem …
hey mr. problem solver, if your premise is valid, certainly you and your colleague should be able to fly to some country and meet with heads of state and end all the wars, right?

why not start off with the palestinians and israelis because i think you will find lots of “emotions” to “negotiate” in that conflict, lol.

just more fluff and bullshit from the delusional left.

    cultural relativism …
cultural relativism is not a sound perspective, all opinions are not right and shoudlnt be respected

    What a terrific …
What a terrific perspective and refreshing. Something I wish a lot of people would get through their heads around the world.

If you can figure that one out you need to receive the Nobel Prize.

    Has anyone else …
Has anyone else noticed that, within these responses from some extremely intelligent people, the main theme is unity?

Maybe we finally ARE realizing that we are in the 21st century?

    Good stuff.

ps: Leave it to the American’s response to contain self-promoting plugs. ;)

    mmmm smart guy, …
mmmm smart guy, using the platform to promote his book, but makes me less interested in his response as I felt it all just led up to the “punch line”. If he didn’t have a book to promote, what would he have said?

    I am very …
I am very interested in this topic. I will read into your book, i have always believed that is the best way to negotiate. I am a university student, it is unlikely that i am able to attend Harvard. What major would one pursue to develop an expertise in international mediation?
