Tim Berry, Founder

Over the past 25 years, Tim has worked with family-business conflicts in the Northwest as well as in California's Wine Country. He has spent years helping family-businesses unravel complicated and messy situations caused by faulty communication and unexpressed resentments. Unattended, these conflicts would have had disastrous effects on both the family and the business.

Tim specializes in helping family firms understand if they have stumbled into "fixed" rather "fluid" thinking. If so, deep conflicts arise from  members polarized perceptions. He helps the members convert these destructive conflicts into positive win-win situations for the family and business. This work is done partially by building a trusting environment by which all parties feel safe and confident enough to move towards resolution.

By training, he holds a Ph.D. in psychology and is a trained Executive Coach. He was also a licensed fly-fishing guide for 18 years. Using settings surrounded by water, Tim often does his family-business work while on the water. In 2019 he moved from Port Townsend, Washington, to Missoula, Montana.
